
Corporation Completes Renovation and Construction Project

The renovation and construction project of the Ministry of Revenue’s headquarters building, which was being carried out by the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation, has been completed.
Project Manager Engineer Akililu Tadese stated that the project, which included the renovation of a six-story building, the construction of a two-story cafeteria, compound landscaping, asphalt paving, and fencing works, was finalized while maintaining the set quality standards.
The manager explained that the corporation made significant efforts to oversee the construction efficiently using modern project management systems. He also noted that final hand over of the project will be held soon.

Good moves of Gidabo Lot 2 Right Canal and Irrigation Project

The Gidabo Lot 2 Right Canal and Irrigation Infrastructure Construction Project is in good progress. The corporation is demonstrating strong performance in the construction of the project by dedicating significant attention to it, improving resource utilization, and coordinating activities with stakeholders.
The project aims to improve the livelihood of the local pastoralist community by irrigating 4,894 hectares of land and transforming it into a semi-pastoralist community.
The construction of the Gidabo Dam Project, which has a capacity of holding more than 63 million cubic meters of water and cultivating over 13,000 hectares of land, was completed and inaugurated on February 03, 2019.

Members of the High-Level Team Visits Kam Ceramics and Industrial Zone of the Corporation

Members of a high-level team led by Her Excellency Chaltu Sani, Minister of Urban and Infrastructure Development of the FDRE, and Dr. Emebet Melese, President of the Development Bank of Ethiopia, visited Kam Ceramics Factory and the construction input manufacturing industries of the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation(ECC) located in kality.
In addition, the team emphasized that the visit enables to foster coordinated and collaborative efforts to carry out development projects.
Kam Ceramics Factory, located in Bishoftu, is 30% owned by the ECC as a shareholder.

The project in good progress

The construction project of Ethiopian Air Lines Group- Resettlement and Rehabilitation G+7 mixed use building found in Bishoftu city is in good performance.
The project that includes a 7-story six buildings is progressing well in Bishoftu city. Since its commencement on January 29, 2025 the construction has been carried out day and night, achieving in good progress.
The project is being executed with modern project management systems and strict safety protocols. It is being carried out with high attention to detail and quality standards to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.

ECC signs an MoU with Casa D'Argilla FZE

The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECC) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Casa D'Argilla FZE to introduce 3D concrete printing technology in Ethiopia, marking a groundbreaking first for Africa.
The purpose of the MoU is to implement advanced 3D concrete printing technology so as to boost quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
The initiative taken by the two parties aims to revolutionize the local construction industry through the introduction of affordable and rapid housing solutions.
The MoU was signed by Engineer Yonas Ayalew, CEO of ECC, and Mr. Roland Jansen, Founder of Casa D'Argilla FZE.

ECC finalizes the project work

The construction of the Kolfe Keranio Sub-City, Woreda 2 Health Center project, which was being carried out by the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECC), has been fully completed and is now in the handover phase, according to Engineer Shemsu Dino, the project manager.
Engineer Shemsu explained that, the health center was built quickly, with high quality, and in a manner that meets expected standards, setting an example for others. He noted that the district administration and residents are pleased with the outcome.
The project manager emphasized that the success was achieved through robust planning, cautious preliminary preparation, intensive monitoring, support, and coordination, all of which played a significant role in the project's completion.
