Tendaho Youth Irrigation Development clearing Project located in Afar Region with a contract value of Birr 73,464,375.71 and its year-to-date performance is 97.6% of its total contract.

The Gidabo Lot 2 Main Canal Construction Project, which is launched in February 2011 E.C in the adjacent Woredas of the between the Oromia and the South Ethiopia Nations and Nationalities State, aims at constructing a 4 km main canal at a cost of 122.4 million birr. The project is expected to be completed in February 2012 E.C.

This project, which is launched in Sep 2012 E.C in the West Shewa Zone of the Oromiya State at a cost of 935 million Birr, aims at constructing a dam and appurtenant structures, is expected to be completed in 2015 E.C.

The dam with a length of 283m and a height of 40m has a capacity of holding 57.7 million cubic meters of water at a time that can irrigate 4,972 hectares of land in the area.
